Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. An order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email.

Sending an enquiry does not create an order. Commissioned pieces are built from a drawing and a written quote that both sides accept before any material is cut; that quote (price, deposit, schedule, delivery) governs the work. Deposits and cancellations follow the refund policy below.

Plans, guides and other digital files are licensed for your personal use; please don’t resell or redistribute them. Download links expire after 7 days and allow 5 downloads — if you run into trouble, reply to your confirmation email.

Shop goods are made and packed in the lab and shipped with tracking; printed items are made to order by a print partner. Shipping costs are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates; if an order is delayed we will tell you and you may cancel it for a full refund before it ships.

Handmade goods vary slightly from piece to piece — wood grain and colour are part of the charm.

We build and host websites on domains you own. You keep ownership of your domain, your content and your customer relationships. Sales made on your site are paid to your own Stripe account; we take no fee from them.

Fees: a one-time onboarding fee, a one-time build fee per site (charged only after its 15-day review), and a monthly plan billed to your card on file. If a payment stays unpaid for 14 days after we have notified you, we may pause your sites until it is paid; nothing is deleted and orders already placed are still delivered.

You are responsible for what you sell and for the accuracy of the information you give us; we will not publish content that is unlawful or misleading. Either side may end a monthly plan at any time by email.

Lab notes, plans and guides are shared for information and education. Working with electricity, tools and machines carries risk: follow local codes, manufacturer instructions and use qualified professionals where required.

Except for the promises in these terms and in the refund policy, products and services are provided as described without other warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
