The Maker Lab build-out

One 16′ × 12′ garage bay turned into a hand-tool and electronics lab: walls, power, network, light, benches and storage — built in the open, one episode at a time.

Season 1 is the lab itself. The bay gets cleared, planned on paper, framed, wired, networked and finished in antiqued white — then filled with a workbench, a tool wall, a wraparound desk and drawer banks, all at the same 32″ working height.

The rule for the room: hand-tool woodworking and electronics live here; the loud power tools live in the main garage next door.
